Simplest approach to meet data protection compliance

GDPR Article 28:

“Processing by a processor shall be governed by a contract or other legal act under Union or Member State law, that is binding on the processor with regard to the controller and that sets out the subject-matter and duration of the processing, the nature and purpose of the processing, the type of personal data and categories of data subjects and the obligations and rights of the controller.”

CCPA 1798.140 (v):

“Service provider … processes information on behalf of a business and to which the business discloses a consumer’s personal information for a business purpose pursuant to a written contract, provided that the contract prohibits the entity receiving the information from retaining, using, or disclosing the personal information for any purpose other than for the specific purpose of performing the services specified in the contract for the business …”

A privacy program is more than just signing data processing agreements

We are a group of certified privacy professionals and enthusiastic software engineers. We have worked with multiple start ups and SMEs across Europe and the USA to help them build their privacy programs. What we found everywhere we went, that managing vendors is a burden they don't want to take on. Especially, with the data processing agreement (DPA) requirements in GDPR and CCPA, these DPAs either get signed blindly or they always need to be went back to in order to check particular provisions, like storage region restrictions or penetration testing requirements.

At PASERO, we want to empower you to fulfill your DPA requirements as effortlessly as possible, allowing you to focus on growing your business and meaningfully mature your privacy program. PASERO is not a full blown vendor management solution, but a platform tailor fit to the essential needs of SMEs. It is compliance made quick and easy.
